Description
The ER310 2.4mm Sub Arc Wire 25kg is a high-alloy stainless steel welding wire designed for submerged arc welding (SAW) in extreme heat environments. It is ideal for welding stainless steel alloys with high chromium content, especially where heat resistance is critical. This wire is often used in applications such as furnace components, heat exchangers, and other high-temperature equipment.
Thanks to its high chromium (around 25%) and nickel (around 20%) content, ER310 provides excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1100°C. This makes it an excellent option for joining or overlaying stainless steels exposed to elevated service temperatures. The 2.4mm diameter allows for smooth feeding, stable arc characteristics, and deep weld penetration, especially when working on thicker materials.
With its consistent composition and strong mechanical properties, ER310 delivers high-quality welds with minimal spatter. It maintains weld integrity even under thermal cycling or when subjected to corrosive gases. That makes it a top choice for stainless steel fabrication in demanding industrial environments.
This 25kg spool is perfect for production lines or large fabrication workshops. It reduces downtime by limiting how often spools need changing, improving efficiency and welding flow.
