Description
🔧 EFeMn‑A Welding Electrodes – 3.2 mm × 350 mm (5 kg Pack)
Upgrade your repairs with EFeMn‑A welding electrodes, designed for high-manganese steel applications. These 3.2 mm × 350 mm rods are packaged in a 5 kg box, offering dependable performance for industrial maintenance and fabrication tasks.
With an alloy composition of 12–14% manganese and 3–5% nickel, these electrodes produce a tough, austenitic weld deposit. Initially, the metal achieves a hardness of 180–200 HB. However, it work-hardens to 48 HRC under repeated impact, greatly improving wear resistance.
💪 Built for High-Wear, High-Impact Jobs
EFeMn‑A welding electrodes excel in environments that involve shock, abrasion, and heavy mechanical contact. You can use them confidently on:
-
Rock crusher jaws
-
Bulldozer and excavator blades
-
Railway switches and frogs
-
Track pads and bucket teeth
-
High-manganese steel castings
Because the nickel improves ductility, these rods also reduce the risk of heat-related cracking—especially during rebuilds and overlay work.
⚙️ Excellent Weldability & Control
To ensure smooth operation, these rods feature a low-hydrogen potassium coating. As a result, you get a stable arc, low spatter, and clean slag removal. Use with either AC or DC polarity and set the amperage between 95–120 A for 3.2 mm electrodes.
For best results, maintain interpass temperatures below 200 °C. Additionally, apply peening or quenching techniques right after each pass to prevent cracking and distortion.
