Pilot pins (also called annular cutter pins or ejector pins) are essential for the proper use of broach/annular cutters with magnetic base drills. These hardened steel pins guide the cutter for accurate hole alignment, enable internal coolant flow to the cutting edge, and eject the slug cleanly after drilling.
Javelin pilot pins are compatible with short, long, and ultra-long annular cutters across the 12–100 mm diameter range and fit most Weldon-shank magnetic drills.
